Hi there,
I can't find this for the life of me... I built an instrument rack with multiple drum racks nested in, all on different chains so that our drummer can browse kits on our SPD-SX. I can easily map a knob to it, but it's a bit cumbersome and doesn't allow him to see what he's doing via the LCD screen on the SPD-SX.
Can anyone tell me a good workaround? Like, maybe there's a M4L patch that converts program changes to CC?
That might do the trick. There has to be some M4L patch out there that can solve this.
Thanks in advance,
M

Re: Control Chain Selector with +/- buttons on Roland SPD-SX
Hey I patched a few M4L devices for the SPD SX to use with Ableton Live but for different purposes:
-controlling the kits on SPD SX via Ableton Live
-controlling the scenes in Ableton Live via SPD-SX
For your purpose Programm Change to MIDI CC I quickly patched something together, which I uploaded to our Ableton Drummer Fbook group here:

Let me know if this does the job.
