arrangement loop start and length return

arrangement loop start and length return

after two weeks again I slipped trying to press control s on the keyboard and they returned, can't find this in the manual anywhere how to turn them on and off
maybe they went on hoilday somewhere nice?

From this post I gather as much as this section of the manual may be of relevance: 6.5 The Arrangement Loop. I'm not sure though, so if this is of no use just ask.

I suggest you explain your issue in more detail. What is the end result you want to achieve? What have you tried?

hi looks like i have executed a hide show loop srart and length fields command
but that does not seem to exist and why would you want to do that?
i just want to stay there like its done for years and not sod off without so much
as a by your leave

on the whole a very contented live user

Where specifically? In Transport or in the Clip editor? Maybe you can make a screen dump and insert here?

Hmmm, Maybe you have turned off warp in an audio clip? That would remove the start and end. Is Warp on in the clip?

hi no the fields for loop start and length in the arrangement view on the left and right side of loop on and off are ones went then returned

hi, a screen dump would now just look normal and I don't know how to replicate what I did, I have tried, and actually I wouldn't want it to do what it did again and not be able to get them back as I find them very very useful.

Unfortunately I have no idea what this means.

Don't be afraid to get to know how Live works. Sooner or later you'l get into this situation again. If you use undo you can possibly discover what it is you did. I know this might not be what you want to focus on a session when you're busy making music, but when you can address idiosyncrasies like this one.
