How do you make a pitched rolling kick sound from this video

Hi guys,

So I saw this video from Flume's Jakarta tour and I heard this crazy subby kicked pattern and I'm really curious how to go about making it in ableton. This comes in at 29 sec mark and it sounded like the kick was rolling and was pitched around a bit. Does anyone know of any video tutorials or can point me to the right direction in reproducing this sound? Also, is the bass used in this video a sub bass with another bass layered ontop? Thanks

Not the best videos but this should get you started. Distorted 808s with normal kick layers.
