i'd try a reinstall.

also, if you have any antivirus turned on, maybe there is a conflict. the Live indexer trying to access all the files and the antivirus getting involved could cause a crash. maybe check the settings and make sure they are not too aggressive... and/or turn it off and see if the issue persists.

As stated by h20only.

If you use windefender only and have folderacces protection on and want to use it against malware go to Windefender on win 10, whitelist the ableton index and webconnector in programdata/ ressources /extensions. At least is what i had to do.

That seems to have helped, live boots however i’m Getting this message:

‘The selected audio clock source 0 is not delivering a useable clock signal to the audio device Realtek ASIO. The audio engine has been temporarily deactivated. please select an audio device in the Audio Preferences to restart the audio engine’

After I hit ok on this message...

A serious program error has occurred. Live will shut down after this message box is closed etc

you're getting that error from the onboard audio driver that comes with your PC.

do you have a third party audio interface?
if so, you should be using that driver. if not, then maybe try downloading ASIO4All and using that one until you do.
