Scroll Live playhead while arrangement is playing like Logic

I've recently converted to using Live as my primary DAW after using Logic Pro for about 10 years. One muscle-memory key command that I miss dearly is Shif+> to scroll ahead in my track while it is playing.

I'm also used to the main encoder of my Maschine Mk2 controller in the way that you can easily and quickly scroll left/right in your track, as it plays.

I know about the left/right arrow keys that you can use to move the start marker while the arrangement is stopped. But if I try to do this and the start marker happens to be all the way at the beginning of the track, then my screen suddenly jumps me to a totally different part of the song.

I also know about Shift+Spacebar and how that will resume the track from where it was last stopped.

This still does not solve for the "real-time scrolling" capability that I'm looking for. I think this has been the most confusing thing about trying to get used to Live.

I use a Mackie MCU which has awesome transport controls including a FF/REW, scrub and play marker locator so I have used that for 5 years to do that kind of thing.

Without an MCU device I believe you need to make use of locators, nothing in the keyboard shortcuts for that. Can also use the mouse in the top timeline area to play from any point without losing sync.
