Audio effects rack

Post by manicbuzz » Fri Apr 13, 2018 9:08 am

Hi,

I've managed to get the routing working on my ada 8200 at last.

I want to be able to send audio to independent send and return channels for separate hardware delay, reverb and distortion.

When i route audio to a s/r channel with an audio effect rack in, even when the s/r is muted, i get doubled output on the master channel. I have all my hardware set to 100% wet.

Example routing.

Audio channel set to - master

sent to return A -
audio effects rack set to adat output 5/6
input set to adat 7/8

If I disable the audio effect rack then it stops and I can only hear the original audio. If I'm sending the output on the effect rack to 5/6 why am i hear both wet & dry signals?

Help appreciated!

I'm not familiar with this product but a wild guess would be that ADAT 7/8 are summed to the master in the ADA. i e Direct monitoring? This would explain what you describe.
