Can't Add VST Plug-ins

When I go to activate my VST Plugins folder the system hangs when it gets to the EmulatorX.dll on the scan.

Is this a known issue?

I am running Windows XP, Emu 1212.

which version of Live do you use?
Do you also use the latest driver for the 1212?

Hi Alex,

I am just installing Live 5.

I have the latest driver for the 1212 and I think the problem is the EmulatorX sampler.

If I remove its dll from the VST folder Live runs ok.

It's going to be a right pain if it doesn't work with Live as that's where i get all my piano samples from.

Hi Alex,

I downloaded and confirmed that I had the latest drivers and software patches from Emu for the 1212, Emulator X and the Patchmix DSP plugins.

I was up to date and the attempted re-install did not fix the problem.

Running Live 5 (5.0.2b6) does fix the problem.

The problem would appear to be unique to Emulator X on my system as the removal of the dll from the VST folder (thus allowing Live to scan the other VSTs) got Live to function correctly with all my other plugins.

Thanks for you help Alex. I assume the fix will be in the next full release?

Yes, fix will be included in the final Live 5.0.2 release.
