So I ordered me a brass pack from producerchoice.com
I want to be able to hold the note down and have the brass continue to play until I let go of the note.
What's happening now is as I'm holding a single note down, when the note reaches the end of the waveform in Simpler, the sounds stops. I want it to still keep playing. I want to have control over when it's stops or not.
I messed with all the ADSR functions but nothing is working. Please advise...
How do I keep my sample playing until I let go of the keyboa

Is this in Simpler or Sampler?ClintB wrote: I messed with all the ADSR functions but nothing is working. Please advise...
Did you make a loop? That's the part that will continue indefinitely while holding a note.

it's in Simpler. No I didn't make a loop. I'm trying to program a brass pattern but with it cutting off before I'm ready to, it's difficult to play my part.
Do I need to make a loop inside of Simpler or what?

Yes, that's how you mold a sample into something more musically useful. Making loops is a creative art form. I decided to stop using Sampler because it wouldn't respect saved loop points in (non-Sampler) Sample Libraries. Dreadful if you ask me.ClintB wrote:it's in Simpler. No I didn't make a loop. Simpler is of course the same, but I don't use it for non-percussive instruments so it's not a problem.
