Greetings. I'm wondering if anyone is doing this with their projects and what problems they've run into. For my question let's assume:
both are running Ableton Suite.
both are using Live devices and VSTs but no AU plugins, and all the same devices and plugins are installed on both machines.
I've looked over this article: https://help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/artic ... er-or-user but it has my slightly nervous that this is not as stable an option as it sounds.
TIA!

You should also maintain and sync your User Libraries on both machines as well as your preset and samples collection. Some plug-ins like Reaktor requires that you have the exact same absolute paths to the related files.JES wrote:Greetings. Personally when I move projects about I make sure to put plug-in presets into their folder inside the project folder as well as doing Collect All and Save, typically ignoring what I know are in both the libraries.
