10.0.2 APC 40 issue - Grouped channel faders

Post by Nurotek » Tue Jul 03, 2018 3:47 am

So i update to 10.0.2 recently, started working on a project. working on a bit of mixing in drum group (Ableton Drum rack), i go to modify one of the drum channels in the arrangement screen and the APC doesnt reconize them. channel 1 is drum group main out, channel 2 -X should be, or has been in previous versions, accessible via the APC channels. whereas now channel 2 is selecting the next channel which isnt apart of the drum group. i could have swore this worked in previous versions, was there a change within the source code or something that needs to be re-enabled?

any assistance would be helpful, thanks !

I'm pretty sure you're confusing how it's mapped in Session vs Arrangement.
In Arrangement a drum rack track can't be open like in Session, so your faders mapping isn't the same, and I don't think anything has changed.

I may have gotten the names of the two mixed up. I swap through them so often I don’t really pay attention to the labeling until some issue comes up. The mixer view/clip triggering page.

I could have swore it was do able before.
