Fabfilter spinning beachball

Hi in Ableton 10 when I use FabFilter plugins if i change a preset I get the spinning beachball for 20 seconds. Are they not compatible with Live10. anyone know a fix.

Just tested here and didn't see that myself, what are your system specs out of curiousity?

Mac Pro trash can 3.3ghz 6 core. 64g ram. I never had this problem before and it does not happen in any other plugins

no issues with Fabfilter stuff here either—both AU and VST are working fine...

I am going to uninstall it and try reinstalling it again and let everyone know if there are any changes

Actually I realized this is happening in a couple of plugins. most work fine. this is happening in the Cableguys plugins. I reset live like Ableton directions. Anyone else have any ideas

No and I am seeing that I am only getting beachballs on Fabfilter, meld productions, Cableguys. But just when you select a preset. So bizarre

If you are using the vst version try AU. Many of my plugins have similar problems as AU’s.

I am using au plugins. I only use au unless it is McDSP they told me theirs don’t work correct yet in au only vst

Whoops I got that backwards. I started using vst’s because my au’s were acting up.

Ok VST are working perfectly. Just AU versions. Is there any preference or file to delete that would reset audio units to help with this situation
