set default midi clip length in session view?

Post by whitelobster » Sat Aug 11, 2018 7:54 pm

How can I set the default new midi clip length in session view? The default seems to be one bar but I would like to make it 4

Thank you!

I don't think there's any way to do this without having either Push or M4L. Push allows for fixed lengths for new clips and I've heard that, if you have M4L, third party options like this make it possible:

Would verify with developer if you're interested in the latter.

That used to be one of my pet peeves with Live.

I've gotten used to it now. They made it a little easier to get larger sizes quicker by using the double loop command in the midi clip editor.

I used to rely a lot on templates with clip lengths already pre defined.
