VIDEO VIDEO VIDEO

Post by nobbystylus » Wed Sep 21, 2005 11:37 pm

Please abes.. i will personally pay for a 5.5 update just to have a quicktime video window, where Live is the master.. I've just finished a nightmarish 2 weeks doing TV/Film stuff using Logic rewired (tried ReVision - its rubbish- you can only use Live as a ReWire slave) and all i can say is.. PLEASE GIVE ME A QUICKTIME VIDEO WINDOW/PANEL whatever in Live.... i will love you all forever...

Yeh, a nice simple Quicktime window in-sync with the timeline. Live is perfect for soundtrack building....

They already use Quicktime for MP3 decoding...how hard can it be

Maybe they could make a Live plugin to host the video, that way it won't interfere with the interface, and those who don't want video support cluttering up their live performance tool will never even know it exists unless they open the plugin.

Agreed, although I usually do the audio first.

I'm tired of rendering the audio in Live, dragging it into Motion, only to find out that I need to re-render the audio to make something work better... back to Live... do it all again...

It would be far easier to do the video first, then make the audio fit. A QuickTime plug-in would do the trick without making the non-video Live users whine.

Great Idea. This would be a very handy tool! Also having the ability to mess with the video (loop, warp, etc) would be nice too...

You can't use VST/AU only when using Rewire, this is midi so you can.
