How to Minimize RAM loading if using 970 PRO NVME
How to Minimize RAM loading if using 970 PRO NVME
I'm Constantly at 99% ram 16GB. I want to greatly reduce ram load on Ableton Pack + EWQL + KONTAKT sample libraries. I want to stream almost exclusively from 970 PRO NVME and X5 drives at ultra low latency mode. Without add new RAM, what is the best way to go about this?

Every track has the possibility to stream from ram or M2 or any HDD anyway......
If you select the track and it's waveform, you see left of it the switch for it!

Only when you load a WAV directly into the channel.... if you use a VST then the loading of content to ram or streamed from HDD is a setting within the VST itself.miyaru wrote:Every track has the possibility to stream from ram or M2 or any HDD anyway......

You would have to check the settings in EW Play and Kontakt for the option to stream from disk.
