Triggering VST Changes

Post by phuzzee_demon » Thu May 02, 2019 4:35 am

Hoping someone can help me with this problem. I'm hoping it is something easy that I am just missing. I'm trying to figure out how to program an Instrument rack with a bunch of different VSTs and have it so that I can automate different ones to turn on for various songs over the course of a show. There are 3 separate MIDI keyboards that are plugged into Ableton via a MIDIPLUS 4x4. Each one has a separate MIDI input. I can get them to trigger different VSTs from different racks. When the first instrument is loaded for each keyboard and any knobs or sliders are used, it affects all of the other instruments that are in the rack so that when they load, they no longer are at their starting configuration. Any idea how I can get this to work? Is there a way to program the patch to reload for each song? It is a programmed set with a click track for our drummer and various tempo changes throughout with a backing track. Most of the VSTs are from Arturia V collection. Thanks in advance for the help.
