I want to LIVE!!!

Hi,

I am totally new to LIVE and have just purchased version 5 to go on my G4 powerbook that runs Tiger.

I followed the installation instructions but messed up the sequence first time round so deleted the Os x folder from my G4 , shut down, rebooted and did the install again. This time I felt I had been successful because I got the icon showing in the Live folder.

On trying to start this it came up with the Live initialisation screen and then came up with an error saying "Folder is deleted"

What have I done wrong? I hope one of you can help as I wanna get playing around on this over the weekend!!

Hi footslider G,

did it you installed Live from a CD? If yes it probably was still a Live 5.0 version. In that case, go the the download section of our website www.ableton.com/downloads and get the latest final Live 5 version (Live 5.0.1).

Or as Live 5.0.2 is coming soon get the latest beta of Live 5.0.2:

Hi footslider G,

Live 5.0 version simply has a bug that could result in this "Folder is deleted" message.
