My problem is a little different from yours. When ever I render something 9 times out of 10 I will have to re-render because Ableton will add a clicking or poping noise to the mix. I can't figure it out.

Are you all running Live with it's own internal clock or are you slaving it to External MIDI Clock.

Have you tried Live5.02Beta7 ?
If not try this latest beta and report back if the problem persists.

Hi folks,

all 3 reported problems seem to be separated issues.

guitarmagic,
can you let men know on which version of OS X and which version of Live do you use?

sungwei,
can you also let men know on which version of OS X and which version of Live do you use?
Do you get these click & pops in the rendered file also when not using third party plug-in?
Does it makes a difference when you record via "Resample" instead of rendering

poshook,
I remember on your posting in this thread
http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=26214
Can you explain this a bit more detailed?

regards,
Alex

I'm using Windows XP Professional. I am running Live 5.0.1. I have not tried rendering or playing with the third party plug in off. The problem is sparatic. Seems to happen only in the left speaker. Typically with bass sounds. It is definitely NOT clipping. I have not recorded via "Resampling" I'm not really sure what that does. All my sounds are from Reason 3.0 using the ReWire engine.

Also now the program is so bad I cannot render without the entire thing crashing. Sometimes is crashes my entire computer and the only way I can get working again is to manually reset. I need a solution ASAP.
