I'm doing a lot with tempo changes (mainly drumming to clips). Sometimes it's tedious to control the speed by mouse. I wonder which controller is able to control the tempo with a knob / fader? All of them? Any recommendations.

Yes all of them....
1, Map to a continuous Encoder
2, Map to a normal Encoder and restrict the range to 128 BPM
3, Map a second Encoder to the right hand side of the tempo for fine control
