Weird problem with LFO Tool used as Sidechain with a MIDI Trigger in Ableton

Post by leonriedel1901 » Tue Feb 12, 2019 10:57 pm

Hello dear music producers :)

Yesterday I bought LFO Tool because I got sick of "sidechaining with a compressor".
I set up an Audio channel as my sidechain input where LFO Tool is in the effect list (Only LFO Tool).
I set up a Midi channel which midi should work as a Trigger for the "sidechain audio channel".

So everythings just fine and works perfectly.

But now I noticed something strange which can be very annoying.

Everywhere where a Kick and Snare is located I put a short Midi Bar as a Trigger for the Sidechain.
It works perfectly but here comes my problem.

If I start to play from a location where a Trigger for the Kick/Snare is located all sounds play perfectly BUT if I click anywhere between the Kick and Snare wheres no Midi Trigger, all my bars go up just like when the song plays which indicate to me that the song plays but I dont get any audio! If I stop the playback, I can hear the reverb of all the sounds which played.

So if I want to hear my song or what I just did I have to hear from a point where a Kick/Snare is.

I searched the whole day on the internet but it looks like I am the only one with this problem.

I hope someone can help me and sorry for my bad description. Cant describe it better but if somethings not clear just ask.
Thanks :) Have a nice evening!

I don't know if this helps
When lfo tool is not triggered it starts at the beginning, so you need to make sure the first point is at the top left
