How to "lock" midi clips in place?

Post by Vivo » Tue Jan 31, 2012 8:32 pm

How is this done in Live, where you lock a midi clip and change the global tempo and the midi clip does not speed up or down?

Thank you for your answer in advance.

+1, I'm also curious how to do this.

I'm working on a recording done without a click, a mix of both audio and midi tracks.
I'm setting tempo automation in Live to follow the performance using master warp markers on a drum track.
The midi tracks change speed and this is not what I want, I want the midi to remain locked in time to the original recorded performance the way the audio files are.

Turn them into audio files and unwarp them?

Cheers

Hi, I've been looking for this function as well. Doesn't seem to work. There should be something like smpte lock like in logic
