In that Ableton developer recruiting video which did the rounds a few months back, there was a lot of focus on audio visualisation. Different teams appeared to be proposing different visualisation and interaction strategies for consideration.
It's possible that somebody in that dev funfair of 3d spectral rainbow plots has pitched a simple goniometer and an oscilloscope. That's a possible thing I guess.
However, Live 10 is scheduled for release on 2027, so don't hold your breath.

as a new user remember to always leave the HELP BOX open in the lower left corner.
Scope is useful to see oscillators signal fluctuations, and to see saturator or compressor action on the signal shape and amplitude.
