View midi clip while overdubbing

Hi all,

Not sure if this can be done or that I need to put in a feature request:

I'd like to overdub notes of a looped midi clip in arrangement view and still view the clip with the notes in it. In session view that's possible with the overdub button. Like in this video: https://youtu.be/4auPj7yQ3uY?t=142
Any way to overdub midi notes in arrange and still see the clip in which it is overdubbed? I can record the overdub notes but the clip view shows "no clip selected". Any ideas?

Doesn’t work for me if you’re talking about viewing it in the details pane.

@jonljacobi: Yeah, that's what I meant. It works in Session View but not in Arrangement View somehow.
