Default template not changed but always askes if I want to save

Hi there I have my default template I made and set. I was just wondering if it was normal for it to ask me if I want to save every time I close or start a new project even if I didn't change anything in the template at all. I feel like I didn't used to have to happen but now I do. Anyway thanks in advance for any info on that. I appreciate it.

Ah yea I am using one m4l serum and a pro-l2

Alright so you the issue is the M4L device, Delay Calculator. Removing that fixed the issue. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
