Creating Presets for Pre-Listening on Push
Creating Presets for Pre-Listening on Push
hi, im wondering is their a way for creating presets for wavetable/operator/drumracks that i can listen while browsing through them with Push. With the factory presets its no problem they are playing without loading the preset into the track, but with my own presets it doesnt work...is their any way to create such presets by myself??

Yeah I’d love this ability too. Like how konplete Kontrol can simply play an .ogg sound file for a preset if it is named the same as the preset file.
Live does do this kind of, but you need to create a pack or something and it’s not designed for users to do. Basically a huge reason I rarely use lives instruments or browser anymore.

yeah seems like their is is really no way to do this tried everything...its a shame ableton... as far as i tested push is already better to use with bitwig and moss script then on ableton himself...bitwig lists u all of your presets even from 3rd party plugins in the browser and u can listen to them without loading them thats really a great workflow boost...cant understand why ableton cant do this thats really a nogo for me...moving on to bitwig now...

Could play a midi clip (and perhaps save the midi track as a default) and then just browse and directly load your instruments.. gives the same result, just takes one (load) click more. Only solution I could think of now.
