Hi,
I would like to suggest making mapping of 3rd party plugins on Push 2 much more customisable and deep. I love my Push 2 but the mappings I can create for 3rd party plugins are never creatively inspiring and I tend to only use Push with Live's own devices which is a real shame.
Preditor 2 by Isotonik Studios has a solution that I've tried and it worked decently - though not without its flaws. Why not open up the possibility to build your own mappings with Push natively within the Live ecosystem? Here's what would be great to be able to do:
1) Rename banks - Instead of Bank1, Bank2, Bank3, etc. they could be named OSC, Filter, Envelope, etc. A descriptive word for what is in that bank. Otherwise you always forget and start wasting time bank surfing to find a parameter.
2) Not having to have exactly 8 parameters in each bank. Have blank spaces wherever one wants.
3) Having a parameter show up in more than one bank. That way Bank1 could have the most important parameters and those parameters could be used again in full context in another bank. For instance a synth could have OSC1 vol and OSC2 vol in Bank 1, but also in Bank4 alongside waveform, pw, tune, sync and so on.
4) The possibility to use Push 2 graphics from Live Devices. For example the filter graphics from Autofilter could be used on a synths cutoff and resonance parameters.
My dream would be to have these customisations as part of "Configure" in plugins. Being in configure mode would show Bank names, let you duplicate parameters and leave blank spaces. Either that or a seperate simple applications for Push that would let you create custom mappings of 3rd party plugins.
In my opinion this would elevate Push 2 to whole new heights and seperate it even further from the competition as the by far best controller around. The hands on experience with Live and Push would be amazing. Push 1 was released like 7 years ago now? It truly is time to make the Push controllers more configurable.

This has been brought up several times and I totally agree with you. I would like to see a browsing / database system like NKS as well. Unfortunately, Ableton have not shown any interest to let people use their Push the same way they can use it with Ableton’s own devices.
