keyboard input to select items in navigation pane

Hi,

I believe this should definitely be incorporated in future versions - the ability to type in the first letter (or first few letters) of an item in the navigation pane on the left. (i.e. if I want to add reverb, I should be able to click on audio effects then type 'R' and the view should take me down to the first item with an R in the title and highlight it. This is a definite need

I think they don't do this because so many keys are already assigned to other tasks. The browser doesn't seem to be modal at all until you click in the find field.
