I want to be able to select scales & modes and have the piano keys highlighted and also the background where you enter the notes.
I am sick workarounds becasue Albleton refuses to add this feature. I have tried every workaround and all are crap compared to how it could be if you just simply highlighted the notes and background.
I have tried every workaround from default templates to importing scales and now I just draw out the scale each time which is highly annoying and not great becasue as you add notes further along the timeline it becomes difficult to see. YES I could "fold" it but I don't want to fold it, I want to see the piano as is. And for those who say learning scales is not difficult, I know the scales but it is still easier to have a guide.
If Ableton doesn't do this then I will consider moving to another platform.

Re: piano roll to key scale & mode
I believe that it is time for Ableton to release a piano roll similar to something of FL studio. These requests have been coming in the past decade! I hope that live will consider, I would never consider another daw ever againTennor wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 10:24 pmI want to be able to select scales & modes and have the piano keys highlighted and also the background where you enter the notes.
