Push 2 used: how would you pay?

Hi,
I would like to buy a Push 2 and I found one on the used market. Vendor tells me he owns the Push since 3 or 4 years (he does not know exactly because he bought it from a friend). He's asking 635$. Questions: is it a good deal or should I pay the full price for a brand new Push? Did the Push 2 change since 4 years or is it stricly the same? Is there something in particular I should check on the device before buying it (other than veryfing that basic functions are working of course)?

Did you check the 2nd hand market? 635$ seems way too much, especially for a 3rd hand.

Yes, the one at 635$ is from the 2nd hand market (sorry for the word "used", maybe it was not the good one, English is not my first language).
Actually it's the only one I found here in Montreal.
