Thanks. No midi. I use a Micro Pog (a polyphonic pitch shifter) to bring the sound one octave up.

that's some nutty playing!! it's tough to critically listen to the actual track while watching your fingers, deeyamn! I needed to see that. the shit eating grin at the end is priceless.

as for the track. brighten the backing up, spread things around. the usual stuff but I don't think that's what you're going for here.


curious about your bass rig though, besides the POG what else is on your pedal board? I do a sansamp YYZ - Bass Micro Synth - Pod HD500 - guitar pedal board usual stuff, I'm hoping that will set me up. any tips GREATLY appreciated.

Hi, the POG is the only piece of hardware I use and frankly I would be quite happy to drop it if there were a VST alternative, but there's none, sadly.
All my sounds are done with plugins.

WOW, just one pedal. I've been checking out bass gear, read a lot about the POG but many players just plug straight in. FWIW I ended up putting a Sansamp and an EH Bass Microsynth going into a Pod 500HD which seems to have 3 bass amps included. there are more bass amp packs
