Grid on Warp Mode

Grid on Warp Mode

Hi

Does anyone know with the Grid setting on warp mode. It seems to get rid of the grid altogether which means I can move the audio freely but have not grid reference to line it up properly. OR I have a grid but it snaps to the grid and I can not move the audio precisely where I want.
Does anyone know a way around this.

Ctrl + 1 decreases,

Ctrl + 2 increases,

Thanks. Tried this it doesn't work. I'm working on Mac. Tried alternatives still nothing.

Turning on Warp should not effect the grid.
