Having used Logic as well as Ableton, each has its own strengths and weaknesses. But by far the best thing (for me) in Logic over Ableton is Dynamic Plugin Loading, where instruments and effects can be loaded up on a track but switched off so that they only actually use RAM if that track is switched on.
This allows for creating mammoth templates with everything ready to go at one's fingertips, without it taking an age to open at startup etc. because it's saved with everything loaded but turned off. Extremely useful, and to the extent I often prefer to use Logic over Ableton, purely because of this feature. I much prefer the piano roll behaviour and automation editing in Ableton though.
