Launching quantized scenes from note view?

Reading and playing around with all the options, preferences and clip options but i still can't get this to work, feeling really dumb.

The thing is that i'm now using Push as my only midi controller, for live performance i need to switch to next scene quickly, but quantized!

By that i mean that when i push the down arrow in Push, it just runs the next scene without falling in time and messing everything up.

I've seen that i can assign the "next scene" button, but i would need to map it in user mode, and going to that lifeless cold and dark place alone seems too advanced and too much work just to have a basic Ableton feature in there!

For further clarification: i need this function in Push, getting another midi controller or launching from the pc keyboard is kinda out of the question.

So, netizens of teh internetz, what am i doing wrong or what are my options?

Have you tried setting global quantization to whole bars?

+1000 for NO LEGATO option in note mode! totally scews everything up every time..

shift plus up /down arrow would be a good trigger.

I would use an external midi controller to trigger scenes. There are even free iphone apps to do it.

This or clyphx - yes, but push could well handle that as a standard.

I wish we could change the Legato function on the up\down arrow on the Push2 setup.
kind of like the scale preference or the workflow.
no 3rd party workaround? maybe M4L?
