Quantize

So when I used to have an old Dr Groove Drum machine and when I would make tracks , its seemed to auto quantize no matter at what time I hit the kick or snare or what ever drum pad I hit. Does anyone know if there is a recommended setting for Ableton quantize settings ? Like Sometime when i hit Command U it sound even worse. I feel like Certain drum machines will kind of auto correct or sequence it for you .
