Map MACROS to all siblings in Live 9?

Does live 9 have an options.txt configuration file like Live 8? I'm not seeing one, and I want to get the map to all siblings function working (this should be in the program already :\ )

It's working for me i think. In fact Live 9 copied my options.txt file to its preferences folder on install.

My live 9 does have it already (9.0.1). I set velocity on a drum rack to all siblings just yesterday

Yep, works in Live 9. No need for options.txt.

Edit. OK, you have explained your self & renamed the thread.

Yes, you have to drop .txt file into your pref folder named 'Options' containing -EnableMapToSiblings=1 and it works just fine.

Ugh bad topic title and explanation...I'm referring to Macros mapping...of course you can map values to all siblings, but if I import 128 samples in a drum rack and I want to map Macro 1 to decay for all of them, there is no way...in Live 8 you could edit the options.txt to allow this behavior.

I enquired a while back and was assured that map to siblings would be available but only via options.txt, same as live 8. Have you been able to find out where 9 stores its options txt?

I'm not at my DAW setup now, but I poked around last night and couldn't find anything. I'll check the place referred in the link above and see if there is a Live 9 specific options.txt. It's a shame it's not a standard feature.

if there isn't one there already, just copy your Live 8 one over to the Live 9 prefs folder

Any fix for this other than relying on Live 8? I use Live 9.7.7 and can't find options file.

You are not meant to find it, you have to create it yourself.

Just create a new text file named "options.txt" and put it in the correct folder for your Live 9 installation.
