Audio glitches upon selecting a Drum Rack

Post by Silice » Sun Apr 12, 2020 2:24 pm

Hello,

Let's say I've just programmed a beat on a drum rack, using push step sequencer and that MIDI track is currently selected and the beat is playing. I experience audio glithces (cuts, noises) if I would want to select any other track and/or come back to the drum rack track, when Push 1 is connected. If I turn it off, the problem is gone. It also happens when I toggle between Note and Session, if I'm on the drum rack.

I've tryed different computers, different sound cards, different buffer sizes, it doesn't happen if Push 1 is turned off. It happens when it's on in every combination I've tried.

Any ideas?

If you haven't already, try turning off "Reduced Latency When Monitoring". See this article for more information: https://help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/artic ... toring-FAQ

Yep, it looks like it was that. Thanks a lot, totally forgot about this option.
