MIDI Programmable Pedal?

Post by Noodles_ » Tue Apr 14, 2020 1:45 am

Hey erryone

I bought an expression pedal (Moog EP-3) with the hopes it could give MIDI values from 0-127 and I could map that to specific parameters to modify the instrument I'm playing.... However I come to find out that it is not compatible with the push, it simply gives binary MIDI inputs. LAME

Does anyone know of a pedal that is capable of what I want to do? I've been poking around with little results :'(

THANK YOU!~

UPDATE: for those of you interested in this topic, I followed up with Ableton support and received an answer. They informed me the push is capable of sustain pedals (ie 0 or 1) but are not able to accommodate a MIDI programmable expression pedal. Shucks

There seems to be lots of pedal options for guitars but I'm really struggling to find anything for piano. I would like to have one or two pedals (0-127) that I can MIDI map to whatever parameters that I can tweak with while I'm playing. Does anyone know of a workaround to this? There must some sort of interface for pedals or workaround to this issue...

Cheers
