On Windows 10:
It appears that Acustica is using an uncommon VST3 folder/file setup. Other DAWs work load these VSTs correctly (Studio One, Cakewalk as examples that I've tested)
But latest Ableton Live 10 release and 10 beta do not. My other VST3s are loading correctly, but Acustica's are not. This is the last bit I need to get rid of VST2s altogether.
Example Acustica Amber Path for VST3 is:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\AMBER3.vst3\Contents\x64\AMBER3.vst3
Notice:
Folder named Amber3.vst3
and sub/sub folder which has the actual VST3 file in it.
My best guess is that this is just Ableton is not scanning sub-folders.
Frankly, Acustica is probably not doing the best thing here anyway as it's embedding soo many files and folders in the VST3 path which likely should be stored somewhere else. But again, other DAWs are working fine so it likely isn't a lack of standards adherence at issue.
And because Acustica is using a folder named "PlugIn.vst3" in the VST3 file directory, I can't just copy the *.vst3 file to that location (name clash).

Hi, try this ...
- go to VST3 folder (usually "c:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\")
- rename "N4.vst3" folder to "n4.vst3plugin"

You absolute legend, renaming the folder worked for me! Thanks a million, it's quite important having these guys as VST 3!
