Ableton 10.1.13 High CPU Suddenly?

I've seen other posts with this problem in the past, but I've never had this problem until now.

Ableton 10.1.13 - terrible CPU performance. I open a fraction of what I used to and I'm getting 60% spikes. Is 10.1.13 known to have some sort of issue with this? Anyone else having this struggle? Running Mac 10.15.4 - Catalina.

Throwing a curveball here.. Win 7 64 user.
Also experiencing performance problems with 10.1.13. I get freezes, it now takes ages it seems to access Favorites, save/load Racks, save/load projects. Rolled back to 10.1.7 (which i updated from), and no more problems.

10.1.13 may have a cross platform performance problem?
