Anyone had instruments go intermittent in Rewire mode?

I have a Marimba instrument in a project I'm recording into Logic via Rewire. It behaves very erratically in rewire mode, in a way I can hardly explain. Example: in the last play through of the song, the section comes around where I play marimba on keys. Any given note of that instrument will only play 4 times consecutively, then the next 4 notes aren't picked up. This goes for every note. However, it isn't always the case. One time, the intermittence was a split of 7-1. Seven notes would play and every eighth hit would not register. Then another time it worked totally fine. I think there may be some bugs in Rewire mode that will prohibit me from recording this way. Anyone got insight here?
