APC 40 MK I vs MK II midi implementation

Hi guys,

my APC 40 MK I is about to give up and I'm thinking about getting the successor. Thing is, a have a lot of custom mappings going on and it would be quite a hassle to reconfigure all of them.

So basically my question is, is midi implementation the same for both APC 40 Mk I and MK II?
Also for foot switches?
