Need Sample and Hold for FM input

Post by ZenMusic » Sun May 31, 2020 9:21 pm

I must be missing how to do this ..

I would like a slow Triangle wave (.25 Hz) sampled 5-10 times per seconds (held) and that S&H controls my Oscillator(s)

making a staircase up then down, but constantly shifting notes each time
thanks

The old LFO 2.0.5 made by Robert Henke has S&H:

For just audio you can set an Osc in Operator to Tri and Fixed Multi 0.01 and Freq 25 Hz (0.01*25 = 0.25), then put a Redux with low Bit Reduction after it.

For MIDI notes maybe just using a M4L LFO set to Tri modulating a Pitch device may get better results.

yeah was about to say use the LFO, also there is more max for live devices, also you could use operator on fixed pitch
