Can't Delete Automation!

I don't know what happened but I have automation on the volume on all my tracks. I keep right clicking and select delete automation. Makes no difference. Once I start playing the song again the automation keeps happening.

Extremely annoying. I tried creating a new track, pasting in the audio and deleting the old track. Still, the volume keeps jumping. Nothing can stop this? Do I need to redo the whole song over?

So do you see the volume control actually moving in Live or just you note the level of volume is varying?

Are you working in Session or Arrangement mode?

If you delete a track and read it and the issue is still there, the automation is not on your track 9if there is automation) it would be on your master or a plugin such as a compressor or something you haven't looked over yet.

I added automation to a plugin in, but on a midi track. Not the bass track, which is an audio track. I guess I still had automation record on while I messed with the volume though? But even though I did see a red dot on the track volume button, on the audio track, I clicked on it and clicked delete automation. Red dot is gone but still the track will always jump up in volume.

EDIT - so the problem track is on Track 6. If I create a track seven. Cut and past everything to track seven. It works OK. BUT if I delete track6 and the new track 7 becomes Track 6, then it comes back. How is that?

Holy crap, spent several hours making a new song from scratch, didn't touch automation and and it still kept happening. Finally figured it out, it's my damn midi keyboard! A new Novation Impulse. I don't even know why it's touching the volume.

OMG thank you. this was driving me insane. I thought it was a bug in ableton. but you saved me from the nut house. lol. for anyone else this was also the issue with the Arturia mk2. just restarted the midi keyboard and the issue disappeared
