This is so basic - IT MUST BE IMPLEMENTED

Post by aklisiewicz » Sun Jul 05, 2020 4:45 pm

I want to click on the track and see where my my cursor is in the editor and vice versa when I edit notes and click on the timeline I can to see where my cusrsor is on the track. At this moment I can only see the cusrsor when the track is playing but not when it is stopped.
It always drives my nuts when I need to figure out where my pointer is !

Hmm, never really noticed that. However, the cursor location is seemingly linked with a tick on the timeline. It seems very inconsistent however. It seems when I move the cursor in detail view, the tick moves, but not vice versa. There may be a performance rationale for this, though I don't see it. For my needs the edit marker appearing in both locations would be helpful so +1.

That said, all caps is a bit much.

actually wouldn't need this, I never had the problem finding what I want to edit after selecting the clip in question.

You need to read posts more carefully.
It is not about finding the clip but location inside the clip. Also - if you do not need it why bother to reply here///?
