Hotswapping Samples in Context

I'm half posting this because I'm hoping this is already doable and I am missing something but, hotswap. When working in, say a Drum Rack and in hotswap mode, not being able to preview the samples from the browser in the context of the part makes this feature really lackluster. The only advantage it offers is i can double click to load a new snare instead of dragging and dropping on a pad.

What it needs is to be able to preview the sample that is played in the browser in the context of your part during playback, like any self-respecting drum sampler. Currently, it also means we don't hear what the sample sounds like through any FX inserted or sent from the track. Really annoying. I could've sworn I used to be able to do this in the past, hence hoping I'm a dummy and have missed it. Hotswap is a great idea but really needs this function.

That would be really great. I am amazed at Bitwig Browser. On top of samples you can audition fx plugins and presets in context without loading. I hope something like this comes to Live.
