Hi all,
I've looked absolutely everywhere but can't seem to find any answers to this one, as simple as it may be (probably just a click of a button)
I work a lot in session view, switching between drum patterns that I've put together in looped midi clips. Usually, when I press play on a midi clip underneath a currently playing clip, it will sync the first clip smoothly into the other. You know, when you click the green play button on a clip and it flashes, indicating that it's queued to play after the previous one has finished it's bar.
Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about -

Now when I click on a midi clip, it just plays it immediately - no queuing, no sync. Just plays it as soon as I've clicked the play button.
Any ideas? I can't figure this out and it's driving me mad.
Thanks in advance!

The problem is going to be in your Launch settings. Click the yellow icon in the lower left for Show/Hide Launch Box. It's probably Quantization. Make sure it is not 'None'. Set it to Global.

Thanks for the quick reply!
I've already got my launch settings to Global. I haven't changed anything - here are my settings which is default for Ableton https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RiF3x4 ... sp=sharing

Now check your Global Quantization setting. It's in the upper left of Ableton. The button to the right of the Tap/Tempo/Metronome. Make sure it is not None. The default is 1 bar.

Johnnycarlos, you son of a gun. Thanks so much, you fixed my problem. Can't believe I didn't see that.
