KONTAKT 6 NOT LOADING PROPERLY IN LIVE STANDARD 10

I have just recently purchased Live Standard after having spent some time checking out Lite. With Lite, all of my VSTs, whether developed for Kontakt architecture or not, loaded perfectly.

In Standard, all VSTs which use a non-Kontakt architecture continue to work well. NONE of the Kontakt-based VSTs load properly.

(1) the browser doe not function properly.
(2) the ability to re-size the work area does not function
(3) the GUI for the VST does not fully reveal
(4) the VST cannot be closed
(5) samples do not load

I re-downloaded Kontakt 6, and that does not seem to be the issue, especially as Kontakt 6 will load all of my VSTs when used in two other DAWs I have used: Cubase and Presonus Studio One 4.

Has anyone experienced this, or have any suggestions? I'm anxious to dive into Live Standard, but this makes it rather difficult ...

I have screenshots which are local on my computer, but I don;t see how to get them onto this post ... sorry, but don't use this very often.

Sounds bizarre--I use Kontakt 6 all the time. Live Standard user as well. Just tried it on my setup just to be sure and it worked fine and just updated Kontakt 6 yesterday.

What OS are you on? What's the patch level of Live?

That is odd. I'm working on a sonification project right now, and Kontakt is cruising along nicely. It almost sounds like Live is trying to use an older version of Kontakt (the browser/GUI thing makes me think that). Have you checked that, mate? I know it's a long shot...

wow. it did seem like a long shot, but that seems to have been exactly what it was ... more specifically, some remnants of an uninstall of a previous version!

@Slothmusic can you explain what you did to make the NI GUIs display properly as I have the same issue. They are fine in Reaper but not Ableton
