Is it possible to have several clips to play simultaneously in the same instrument? e.g. by extending a device to multiple tracks?
I would like to have clips of different lengths playing simultaneously, e.g. a 1 bar clip for notes, an 8 bar clip for filter cutoff automation, a 32 bar clip for modulation depth automation, and so on...
A solution has been proposed in the past, suggesting to create additional "bare" MIDI tracks whose output is routed back into the target device track. But in this way, the bare MIDI tracks are unaware of the device parameters, so this is really an ugly solution.

Re: Automation on multiple clips/tracks
I believe this can all be done in a single clip.
I don’t often do this so my explanation might not be 100% accurate but hopefully you get the gist...
You have to unlink the automation loop meaning the automation can loop round at whatever length you want independently from the notes loop.
Each parameter you automate can have its own loop length.
