Recording midi output results of Arp plugin.

Post by Zero B » Sun Oct 04, 2020 9:42 am

OK, I have a max for live or midi ARP device that plays a run of notes or chord strum if I hit a single note on my keyboard. Simple stuff.

Is it possible though to record the resulting midi output of that plugin into ableton as a midi track i.e. all of the output midi notes and not just the single key I originally pressed?

Yes just select the track output as the input of the recording track.

Cool thanks. I was using the track output not the input so wasn't seeing it.

Yeah it’s something to be known for routing in Live. When you can’t do it one way, try the other way !
