Hello is there a way to equalize the velocity on the drum rack slots to the same level all at once?
So for example I have a kick with different velocity but want to change all back to a fixed volume on each step. Is there a trick how to do this? Or do I have to change it manually for each kick in the drum rack. These levels are tiny and hard to catch with the curser;)

Re: Equalize velocity drum rack
There's a few different things you can do, I'm not entirely sure which will help but hopefully one or more of these will solve your issue:
1. Click on the sample in the drum rack, open up the device and set the volume of the sample (bottom right-hand corner of the device). You can then right-click and choose Copy value to siblings which will set all samples in that rack to the same volume.
2. You can map the volume of all the samples, or the volume of all the chains, to a macro - changing the macro will then change the volume of all the samples
3. You can put a velocity midi effect (e.g. fix 96) at the start of your device chain which will get rid of any velocity sensitivity on your midi controller
4. ClyphX Pro allows you to automate almost any parameter, including drum racks and device chains. There's a forum https://forum.nativekontrol.com/board/45/clyphx-pro and a facebook group
I hope that helps, let me know if you need to query anything I've suggested.
Cheers

Re: Equalize velocity drum rack
Live's Velocity MIDI effect is a velocity compressor, so you can drop that onto any incoming MIDI and limit the velocity range to whatever you need.
Check out page 440-441 of the Live manual for more info.
