What is the media center edition?
Is it based on XP Home or Pro?
Does Live works well with it?

it's based on xp pro and runs fine with live for me. comes in pretty handy as a digital video recorder too....

theres a lot of stuff in there you could cut out though if you want to get more cpu out of it, but i haven't done that yet, and i've had my machine for about a year. i'm at the point now that i use reaktor5 a lot more that i kill a lot of extraneous processes before a show just in case, but i've never had any crashes during a show, and very very few dropouts. soon i'm going to dual boot (i think) just to make my life a little easier with the process killing.

nope, tablet edition from what i've seen is a different beast to media centre. i'm using a freakin huge 15.4" toshiba qosmio with all its bells and whistles...

i'd be curious to hear about tablet edition though - anyone using it?
